Practice being quiet!

Good, common sense, but something that is easily forgotten when we are thinking ahead in our minds. Listening is easy to say, but not judgement, not second guessing, not assuming and actually validating what you think you hear, is more difficult and indeed needs practice, practice, practice!

Reminder of the importance of really listening to what the other person is saying when we communicate. A great technique suggested of asking the person, "is this what you meant"?
