I think this summarizes quite well what is important in attracting and retaining Finance talent. I like the comment about making the talent aware of the vision of the company  as I think that when young talent has an awareness of this that it really supports their development and also motivation to learn topics.

Very interesting and informative video on "How to engage young finance talent" as a young high performer as well these are the key factors to a prospective employer.

On the other had being a Finance Leader, this also informs me of the value proposition that I should create in my Finance Department and organisation at large in order to ensure that we can attract and retain high flyers

All the things stated in the video make sense, I think all employees like to think that the company they are working for gives back to society in some way and helps the community.  On an individual level it is important for them to know that they are important to the business, are challenged and have opportunities.  The international component is also important.

I am finding myself more and more working with younger people and feel a responsibility to motivate and mentor them as much as possible.  This video has helped reinforce some of what is needed to do that.

All the comments made were quite obvious ones that you would expect all to know in terms of attracting and retaining young talent in Finance.
