Didn't find this particularly revealing but obviously reiterates the need for reliable information systems/controls in order to make effective decisions.

It has to be timely, reliable and in a format to aid decision making, this is always something that I think about when providing information to management.

Made me think of strategic role of information.  How it measures progress towards strategic goals.
