Interesting to learn about the importance of log files to crack the path of the hacker / purpose.

Two factor authentication is clearly more desirable than username and password alone.

Learning from existing hacks (especially well publicized ones) shows system vulnerabilities which are being exploited. System and software vendors usually issue patches, software updates to prevent any future breaches. It is important to learn from this and make sure patches are installed as soon as practicable.

Running vulnerability checks on your own web offering will reveal actions to take.
