Published in conjunction with The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA), the ACT has compiled this briefing paper designed to highlight how the treasury function operates and what the key considerations are for treasurers and treasury practitioners.
The document is intended to educate senior business leaders, such as FDs, CFOs, lawyers etc. on the challenges and complexities of the treasury role. There is also a useful checklist which may highlight some of the key treasury issues where further questions and/or action should be taken.
Treasurers should also find it a helpful document when explaining treasury to colleagues, accountants and their boards.
