I see good lessons for Government Institutions which are later comers to IT. For instance in Uganda some Internal Auditors prefer to audit around the system instead of on system. This is a common practise under the IFMIS ( Integrtaed FM sustem) and IPPS( Integrated Personnel & payroll system)

I understood the top ten technology risks. I will give priority to technology risks to the internal audit plan and inform our team members. I will evaluate the risk mitigation measures for the identified risks in the organisation and recommend procedures to improve the results in the internal audit report.
